NOMINATIONS DEADLINE: Closed


This prestigious award is presented to a person who has made an outstanding contribution to a Region 16 chorus(es) or quartet(s) in a coaching capacity.

  1. Nominees must be a Region 16 member, or, in the case of a male nominee who is not a member, the nominee must be a director of a Region 16 chorus.

  2. Nominees do not need to be on the Region 16 faculty or RMT.

  3. Any Region 16 Sweet Adeline quartet or chorus may submit a nomination form for this award for consideration by the Selection Committee. (Nominating quartets do not need to be officially registered quartets.)

  4. An individual may be nominated if he/she has not received the award within the previous 10 (ten) year; i.e., individuals may receive the award a second time, but it must be a minimum of 10 (ten) years since the last time they received it.

  5. Forms must be emailed by April 6, 2025 to Barb Jacobs, Regional Awards  Coordinator, via email to: btjacobsmilton@gmail.com. Forms received after the published deadline will not be accepted.

  6. The Selection Committee shall consist of the last 3 (three) recipients of the award and the Regional Education Coordinator. (If the Education Coordinator has a conflict of interest, such as being a nominee herself, an alternate Selection Committee member is chosen from the Regional Management Team.)

  7. The selection will take place prior to Regional competition and the candidate chosen for this honour will receive the award at Regional competition.

  8. The administration of the award and amendments or alterations of these terms of reference are the responsibility of the Regional Management Team
