BRC Convention Details

BRC Rehearsal

• Thursday evening; time tbd

• Location tbd

• We hope to have a fun mix and mingle with all the competitors to wish them well and ease any anxiety they may have

• Each year we will try to do something a little different if you are all committed to learning a song. We will talk about this at our rehearsal. But for this year, we will learn a new song, Greatest Day, donated by Erin's friend, Rosalind Johnson.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

• ​​​Learning tracks cost $100, so we will be taking a collection to cover the cost

• Please also bring cash to donate to our incoming champions to support them in their journey to Columbus, OH

Quartet Contest

• Wear BRC ribbon 

• Sit in VIP seating during quartet contest, if you wish

• Gather in green room immediately following the final quartet contestant

• We will enter the stage as a chorus (not individual quartets)

• June will announce the Outgoing Champions Firefly, who will sing one song

• We will sing them back to the risers with Auld Lang Syne (Blue Ribbon Entrance Tag)

  • Slight changes to the lyrics of Auld Lang Syne: 

"So let us sing our song together

And celebrate Firefly  (instead of “and make our sound devine”)

Let’s keep their memories golden

For the sake of Auld Lang Syne

• We will then sing the new song, Greatest Day
